Design Tip!  Summer has arrived in KC… time for backyard barbeques and gatherings with friends and family.

To help expand your living space to the outdoors… follow these few tips.  1) Divide your patio or deck into three seperate areas. One for eating, one for conversation and one for relaxing.  Place your outdoor furniture accordingly.  2) Use the same color scheme (as your indoor colors) for rugs, chair cushions, pottery, etc., but make the colors more vibrant and brighter.  Also, make sure any fabrics used outside are specifically designed for outdoor use.  3) Add a focal point such as a chiminea or metal fire bowl, especially if you entertain at night-time.
