Pleated shades are a form of window treatment which comes in a variety of colors and options to match the decor of your home. Pleated shades allow a decent amount of light and visibility through the covering itself. Commonly, pleated shades are lined with fabric in order to control natural light and privacy.  Pleated shades are available in traditional pull cords, continuous cord loops, spring-loaded bottom rails, and top down/bottom up operations. It is important to note the difference between pleated shades and window blind slats. Window blind slats are in separate pieces with gaps in between, whereas pleated shades are one sheet of material with defined pleats.
