Rebecca Atwood: Our Featured Designer

In the latest design news, Hunter Douglas has collaborated with an amazing textile designer for their Design Studio. We’re excited to announce this partnership with Rebecca Atwood! She has curated this collection of fabrics, solely designed for the Hunter Douglas Design Studio. With her specialty fabric choices, you can create new, custom draperies, side panels, roman shades, or roller shades.

“Natural light is a luxury—it makes everything look better—and window treatments become such an important part of the room.”

– Rebecca Atwood

Rebecca Atwood and her Artwork

With her roots in Cape Cod, her love and appreciation of natural aspects is reflected in her art. The influence of the ocean is very apparent in her designs, creating such a classic and dreamy look at the same time! She first sketches things out to play around with ideas, and then adds her finishing touches to her favorite designs.

At Rebecca Atwood Designs, creating her collections goes further than the artwork behind the home furnishings. Her heart is full of amazing values that help inspire and fulfill her days with her team. Intentional self-care, inspiration, creativity, presence, and responsibility balances the work. She is patient and makes sure to instill her personality and values into each one of her designs.

Introducing the Collection

With her extreme talent, she blended traditional and classical elements, along with calming and cozy colors to create a look not seen elsewhere. She believes window treatments should flow effortlessly in your space, whether that’s blending in or acting as a pop of color. Rebecca Atwood’s designs will do just that, customizing the look and feel of your home.

This collection of textiles is assembled with a lot of careful thought and different creative processes. In some designs she kept it subtle with watercolors. Yet, in others she opted for a fun potato stamping pattern. No matter your taste, between these eight fabric designs, in a range of colors, you can find the perfect pairing to coordinate with your home and decor.
