It’s been over 20 years since we first opened One Stop Decorating. Originally from the Kansas City area, we moved back here in hopes of raising our family and starting this business in the close knit community we’ve always called home. Since opening our doors in 1995, we have enjoyed being an integral part of your lives–our loyal clients–and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. That’s why we want you to be the first to hear our exciting news! We have opened the very first One Stop Decorating warehouse!

The One Stop Decorating Warehouse

We moved into this new location–located just off 435 and Prairie Star Parkway–at the beginning of December. Travis is the One Stop Decorating warehouse manager, overseeing everything that goes on in this 4500 sq ft space. With a military background and warehouse experience, we are excited to see him whip this place into shape by cataloging all the product as it’s received, and sending it out as it’s needed for installations. We will receive all of our orders of blinds, shades and shutters; this has always been handled by our Vendor, but we’re excited to see it improve our business.

What Does This Mean for You, Our Client?

We are already experiencing some amazing results. With an organized, consistent work flow, our team of installers picks up all the materials and products they need on a daily basis. The One Stop Decorating warehouse has already shown an increase in productivity with Travis’ organization of product ready to be picked up at the start of each day. We love that this warehouse is underground–in the Meritex Underground warehouse–because it keeps product safe and out of the elements as it gets loaded into the vans. We are thrilled to be able to offer you an even better experience, as the organization of this warehouse improves our process with consistent delivery and overall satisfaction.

As an Added Benefit…

With the One Stop Decorating warehouse, we now have the capability to repair blinds in a service area that we have created, especially for this purpose. In the past, this was always handled by shipping product back to the vendor–and that’s still an option for us to use. But with small fixes and simple repairs, the turn-around time for your blinds can be faster and more convenient, as you won’t have to be without your window coverings for long.
